Welcome to Funborn. We are an unique recording studio located in a quiet area on the outskirts of Prague. Being fully equipped with professional equipment, we work and create in a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere with a personal approach to the artist or client.

About us

We have experience working for a number of Czech and Slovak artists. At the same time, in the field of audio post-production, we cooperate with prominent international professionals.

The studio is run by Peter Aristone, who collaborates with American master of sound and multiple Grammy Award winner Chris Lord-Alge in audio post-production.

Peter is not only a producer and audio engineer, but he himself is a music performer, composer, singer, multi-instrumentalist and songwriter.

On his debut album 19 days in Tetbury he collaborated with Mel C, James Dean Bradfield (Manic Street Preachers) and producer Greg Haver.

EP Gold was created in collaboration with producer and co-writer Sacha Skarbek (Miley Cyrus, James Blunt, Adele). Both the Gold single and the music video won the 2016 Freshmen contest on MTV.

Thanks to the single Gold, Peter went on a several-month tour across America with Marc Broussard in 2016 and 2017.

He collaborated with David Bowie’s producer Marc Plati on The HIT album.

Our Equipment

The studio has a recording room, control room and personnel facilities, including a kitchen, where you can prepare good coffee or refreshments.

In the studio, we have at our disposal a variety of musical instruments, ranging from acoustic guitars, electric guitars, bass guitars, small percussion instruments to the upright piano.
